I will be around 27 points assuming ranking mid 8,000s.

1. Sorry for being poor and not a better fan.
2. Any chance I get 2 tickets or will I be on the secondary market like the tshirt fan I am?

I'm just a little higher than you are and I do not expect to get tickets fwiw.

You will be able to get in the stadium for $200 on the secondary market or face on game day.

thanks

I think the tickets just need to hit secondary market so prices lower. I already booked a really cheap flight so I guess we will see on tickets budget is semi flexible. Hoping 200 does it.

I was told you will get tickets if you sit above 750 and below 6000.

Do they distribute away tickets by regular priority points or philanthropic priority points?

$200 on the secondary market.

Well... Let's all hope. I'd be elated but I don't expect it. This will probably be the 3rd highest in demand ticket ever. Just behind the 2 BCSNCGs.

Got an email from LSU this morning. I had chosen the three payment option on Tradition Fund. Last payment was to post on 5/2/16. Email explained the option to pay before 4/30/16 points deadline to help with points ranking. It specifically says "The April 30, 2016 lifetime priority point rankings will be used for the assignment of 2016 football away game tickets".

For what it's worth, I was ranked around 3,300 and received two tickets to the 2011 national championship game. My ranking is still about the same, so I'm hoping similar distribution and that I'll get two to Lambeau.

LSU is receiving 20,000 tickets. Lets assume 2000 tickets are held back for students, LSU Admin, player-guest, etc.

According to the chart they sent out the max number of tickets will be as follows:

1-100: 8
101-250: 6
251-750: 4
751 & Above: 2 (if available)

Assuming every donor from rank 1 to 750 takes their maximum (3700 tickets). This leaves 14,300 tickets. Bringing the maximum ranking to 7,900 assuming everyone from 751-7900 requests two tickets and LSU holds back 2,000 for their own use.

I've got no idea how many they normally hold back, but figured 2,000 would be a reasonable number for this exercise. And obviously not every donor from 1 to 7900 will request tickets, or the maximum. But this will give you a good idea of what you're looking at.

This times 10. Whisky folks will drive secondary market up. They're going crazy looking at this game. Will be very few deals made for this game . Pay and play all I can say.

Great thought out post- my concern is my 8,000 ranking really 8,000? I mean I am 30 something piker who chipped off a little more than $100 for 5-10 years. Could I really be 8,000?

I'm dishing out a few grand per year between football, hoops and basketball and my ranking is staying about the same or slowly retreating. You've got to think about the huge bucks that folks are paying for suites and stadium club. It's impossible for "common folk" to move up and compete.

I was thinking in reality I was much lower but 8,000 sounds better than 100k. Oh well maybe I have a shot.

I got the installment email today too for my seat donation.

Didn't LSU report they had 10,000 ticket requests for Lambeau game last week? Is it possible we won't even sell all our 20K?

I am guessing that is 10k requests all likely at the maximum of 2 or 4 tickets. In reality that number is more than doubled.
