Any chance the fire Miles threads could stop?

The man is not going away this year or next. The contract will not allow for it. If he has a horrible year next year, then the discussion can resume. It's officially gotten old reading the same thing on the Rant the last week.

But I like the Rant too much. Is it too much to ask that people stop making the same thread about something that they know can't happen?

It's not an automatic rollover - LSU can decide even after 8 wins. In fact, it was not rolled-over last year and certainly will not be rolled-over this year.

Sure the fire Miles threads will stop as soon as there is a new coach. As soon as he doesnt totally dominate a game on both sides of the ball, then just insert his name in the fire new coach threads.

The 2007/2008 extension was for 7 years, running it to 2014. If there was an extension last year, it would have then run through 2015.

I hope not.. Les Miles is an embarrassment to LSU and the state of Louisiana. Fire Miles threads keeps the heat on by the fans forcing the University and/or Boosters to make a change sooner rather than later.

You and the other so called fans like you are more of an embarressment to LSU than Les Miles will ever be. To think that many of the FIRE LES crowd actually want LSU to lose so he will get fired makes me sick. After what he has accomplished for LSU He deserves the right and the chance to get us back on track and he will have that chance regardless of the negaters like you.
