He hasn't had a super season but has been really good. Will he return or not?

It will be interesting how O attacks the problem of juniors leaving early. This class has some like Patrick Peterson where you would feel bad if they ended up staying like Fournette and Adams, but for others they definitely need to give serious thought about staying. Godchaux being one of those.

Its not a given that he is gone. We will see what grade he gets from the NFL Advisory Board and go from there.

I'm guessing that the pre-season injury to Lacouture is something that would sway him to leave.

Alabama manages to keep J Allen.
LSU manages to lose D Godchaux.

I just don't get it.

Godchaux family could probably use the new income. That is a big factor in these decisions.

Be a 3 time SEC champ, repeat as national champs and be the first team to go 15-0. Yea I don't get why J Allen would stay.

He's played well enough to solidify his NFL potential to teams.

With one game left in his career he's put up 141 total tackles, 18 TFL, 10.5 sacks.

Looks like a 3rd round pick at worst. Probably making 500K per year after taxes/fees and a year head start on his 2nd contract.

Absolutely. Lord knows that Allen's family has to be well off after he signed his LOI to play for Bama.

Booger shared a pretty cool story on Culotta and the Fan a few days back referencing Godcheaux. He said he needs to stay one more year to mature - he said he was going to talk to him. Booger stayed and it worked out great for him. He was drafted 15th won 2 rings.

Davon comes from a rough upbringing. I'm sure many of you remember the stories. Dude didn't know where his next meal was coming from. Sure he's being well taken care of at LSU, but I'm sure the $$$ is attractive and would help his family.

My fear, is with these type of kids they get taken advantage of financially.
