Freakish talent in that family. Mondo is a prodigy. I think he owns just about every age group pole vault record. In the last year he's gone from 18'1" to 19'1". A lot of high level vaulters top out at 18', but the sky's the limit for this kid. He just keeps getting better.

And Mondo is 17 and has his own wikipedia page.

ETA for link to 19'1" LINK

Twan's the better all around athlete. Mondo is the better at what he does.

I did not know he was competing for Sweden.

I wonder, if given the opportunity, if Antoine would choose to do the same. Edit: in baseball

Those boys mom is Swedish as in born in Sweden. The Swedes consider any children of Swedidsh citizens to be Swedish.

Both Antoine's mom and dad were scholarship track athletes at LSU.

And the dad is Merican. International sporting rules, with parents of different nationalities, you can choose where you want to play.

That is why, and probably a bad example for this board, US soccer had so many German born players. Our GIs were makin babies.

Point is, I didn't know momma was swedish based on the very local name, Duplantis.
