Do you think Les plays it vanilla against Bama like he has all year.... grind out a victory based on greater talent or do you think that he pulls out a bit of the Mad Hatter for the final game of the year....

I think he does the Mad Hatter thing early.... either a option pass from Shep, Brad Wing fake punt .... or to really stir the pot using Lee early to see if we can open up the passing game...

Thoughts?

Once again, we'll play straight up like every other down of the season and beat them the old fashioned way

If the Tigers play their game and execute well - they'll win. That's all we want.

I agree with everything so far, but I'll add...

Miles will pull out a gadget play if this team needs it.

if he needs to pull something out of his arse he will, but if we can be conservative and win then thats what he will do. doesnt matter how ugly it is just need the W.

a successful trick early would give Saban something to think about - successful being the key operative

It's about time we finally open up our secret playbook. We've been waiting for that special moment for the last 3 seasons.

Every coach that plays LSU is already thinking about it whether Les calls it or not. That's what his "mystique" created after years of running so many offers.

He sure "fixed" the QB situation and it wasn't particularly broken.

I think he sticks with the same vanilla game plan rather than risk turning the ball over. The problem is that I don't think the option will be as effective this time around, so JJ will have to complete some passes.

We had terrible field position in the 1st half of the SECCG, and we can't afford to let that happen again.

Calls heads instead of the usual tails, passes the ball on a first down and gives to the full back out of the I formation once. Yeah I think he'll use some trickeration.
