In the past 2 weeks, I have talked to a surprising number of LSU fans who really want LSU to have a bad season so that Coach Miles will be fired. Have many others experienced this? While I'm not a big Les Miles fan, I can't see rooting against LSU.

Yea, we're having a anti-miles viewing party at my house Saturday night. You're more than welcome to come by if you're in the neighborhood. I got over 25 LSU fans coming, 10 MS State fans, but no OM fans bc they like where he's coaching at the moment.

In that case they really aren't LSU fans. I personally would never let them consider themselves fans if I was an acquaintance with them.

I'd love to talk to some of those "fans" to see what post-Miles plans they envision. I'll assume they think they'll LSU will just fly over and pick up Gruden, who wants to come here so bad he can taste it, pay him $6 million a year, and we'll reel off 3 straight SEC Championships because a "real bad-arse SOB is back on the sidelines".

Or something like that.

The Sabanistas, particularly are rooting for Bama. They may consider supporting LSU, should a coaching change to "anybody but Miles" occur. They were the same types of people who rooted against the team in 1999 so that Dinardo would be fired. Shameful and disgusting, but nonetheless true.

That's my question-they seem to think it'll be easy to replace him with a coach who will instantly win SEC and/or National Championships.

They are looking at the players that are on the team now and the recruits Miles has committed to LSU for next year much like the way they say that happened with Miles when he took over from Saban thus saying he won the BCS NC with Saban's players.

Yes the office of the President is equal to the head coaching position at LSU. Great comparison.

I'm not a fan of Obama's policies, but I'm not going to hope we get raped by Iran or whoever just because I'm unsatisfied with the commander in chief.

Same goes for LSU. While I actually like Miles, I still would never root against my school just because I didn't like the coach.

Why, thank you. Thank you very much, Robbie.
