I think Rivers is the future,,,
Maybe it's retting though.

My bet is that Rivers never sees the starting spot or if he does its for only a couple of games next year. Jennings is the future then Rettig for a year after AJ graduates if Rettig doesn't transfer.

I was being sarcastic.

I have no idea who is the future.
Neither do you or anyone else.

I just hope Mettenberg has a good season, that is all. But what I mentioned about the 3 other players besides Shepard that you mentioned. Because of limited play at LSU all 3 suffered in the draft because of it, yet still made NFL teams, strange huh?

I don't think trindon was underutilized.
Kw wasn't a feature back... Hester and Scott wheret either... All 3 contributed.
Can't explain DP lackluster LSU career.

Miles tried to use Holliday like a regular RB. Up the middle and all along with terrible screen passes in traffic insteading of getting this kid in space all the time to use his world class speed. K Williams would torch a team for a 60 yard TD and then wouldn't be seen or heard from again because he fumbled. As for Peterson, just used all wrong, if Cam Cameron had arrived before, you would have seen how to use the guy. And I don't need to say anything about Shepard, you know the deal. Oh, well, Tired of talkin about this stuff, like I said it's been mentioned on here many a times.

Every school has players that don't live up to potential. There is only one football and a limited amount of plays anyway. When you are on an elite football team like lsu, there will be many other talented players sharing the ball. Not everyone will live up to fan expectations. You are acting like this is just exclusive to lsu. That's laughable.

Plus you named like 4 or 5 players out of 100's over 8 years. It's not some epidemic you are trying to make it into.

I have no doubt he will. Got to get some experience for the starting position next year.

to be quite honest, Mett was a "let down" last year, play calling problems or not. If AJ's better, let the kid play.

Little Nicky Red Devil says bring Jennings on. We'll shut him down just like the "Dual Threat" wonder that Notre Dame threw at us. We shut the run down and made him HAVE to throw the ball. Game was over when he couldn't adequately throw it.

Hey, what's Cam Cameron have to say about JenSwag?

Is he going to be another Antwaan Randle El or the next great high school quarterback that eventually winds up playing wide receiver at LSU because he can't handle the "PASSING" part of the offense Cam Cameron wants to run?

Spring practice aint the SEC! Some of you kids are jumping the gun as usual and are setting yourselves up for another disappointment a la Shepard a la Randall.

Randel El was a great college quarterback.

Shhhh. Don't tell him. Let him continue to live in that world of his. In his world Randl El, Jennings and Notre Dame's QB are the same person. What happened to one will happen to the others.

Did Alabama shut down "dual threat" Johnny Football of aTm in that world? I guess somehow he is different, right? Maybe Jenning will be more like him than Notre Dame's QB, who by the way led his team to an undefeated regular season.

Edit: I guess "____" equals "dog whistle" in his world as well. So clever.

Doesn't see the field unless Mett & Rivers both go out with injuries, Redshirt Year!

You haven't seen this guy play, have you? He is a pass first/run only when necessary QB. You don't win Elite11 QB competitions if you're a WR eventuality.

Early reports have indeed been impressive about Jennings, but remember, spring practices are just what, two weeks along?

Yes, he is off to a good start. Let's see where things stand after spring practices end, the spring game is played & even into next fall.

I just hope Miles will let Cameron determine who is best & what type of offense will be most productive. After all, isn't this what an offensive coordinator is there to do?

At this point, Anthony Jennings is clearly the better of the two incoming freshmen quarterbacks. Looks to me like he’ll give Stephen Rivers a heck of a battle for the No. 2 spot, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him earn it by the fall.

Same thing Shea and Sonny are saying. Cam Cameron in particular is really impressed.
