Sitting in the LaGuardia NY airport reading this before boarding my flight home. The lady next to me ask if I was all right...notice ing my eyes welling up.
Wow...what a great story. Wish we had more of this on the rant versus the negative over emotional immature reactions every time LSU loses or deals with other adverse outcomes. This type of story keeps it all in proper perspective.

That's great for everyone involved. These are the stories that make more proud that anything to be an LSU Tiger. It doesn't hurt that Hickey has been my favorite player for a couple seasons now.

Me too even before reading this story - which brought tears to my eyes.
Early on I recognized that AH never quits and always gives maximum effort - always. That is a trait that I admire the most in any person. He is one of the few athletes that I've ever seen display it.
