I've been a fan of his since the first game I watched him play. He flat out hustles the whole time and never quits or plays defeated in any way. I love to see that quality in a competitor - especially one on my team.

If he plays like this for four years he will most likely be one of my top five favorite Tigers.

I really like to watch him play.

I think he can play in the NBA based on hustle and defense alone.

Credit the training staff and coaches for superb conditioning of these guys, especially in the off-season.

And credit Anthony in the pact he made with JOB to get into the best shape.

And credit Anthony for staying in shape, and being smart enough to know his game fully depends upon it

His lack of size will keep him at LSU all 4 years. I wouldn't bet against him that he can't make the NBA. He's a player with tremendous heart and a never ending motor. This team is going to be dangerous going forward this year. Next year and the year after, watch out.

Hickey can go 40 minutes every night all year. JOB3 still has that toungue hanging out alot, but it's tougher for big guys. He's definitely in better shape than he was last year, but hell..so am I.

This is from a post i did on another thread, after having been at last night's game, sitting behind the bench. Gave me a better idea about how good he is:

"JOB was really out of sorts in the 1st half . Came back to the bench deflated several times.
This is when I saw how good Hickey is as a leader. He went and sat with him (right in front of him actually) and talked to him for several minutes while he was on bench for foul trouble. Hickey never looks downhearted , frustrated or angry on the bench. He watches the game with intensity, if he sees something and gets up to talk to CJJ.
So even when he 's not on the floor he's into the game 100%.
Really turning into a true point guard. Is confident enough to be a leader now.
Very proud last night. "

Daddy like.

Hickey is a fricking stud. I want him to get in the Dance and show the world what he can do.
