Yep. Tailgates at most other schools are shitty BBQ and hamburgers. Bring in some slack jawed redneck from Auburn, he smells all the boiling peanut oil, and all he can relate it to is the corn dogs at the county fair.

The problem was that some stupid Auburn fan picked up on it the next season, but that was the extra point game. And it's stuck ever since.
That's how I remember it anyway. But yeah, suppoosedly the UGA fan got it off an Iowa board.

I actually am glad when an opposing fan refers to us as corn dogs. Then I know their IQ is around 6 and I won't waste my time trying to have a conversation with them.

I always found the corn dog reference to be funny and not insulting. There should be corn dogs frying at every tailgate party. Give them something to really talk about. Let's stink the place up. Right now the corn dog belongs to LSU. Let's not lose it.

Yep. This is my opinion as well. They have nothing else to bitch about. They are jealous that their gameday atmosphere, gameday food, etc... cannot measure up to ours
