Yes I know he's an alum but he finished t4 today for his first top ten finish of his career. I played a lot of junior golf and college golf against him and couldn't be more happy. This is only the beginning of Andrews' success on tour.

He is on a great rise to stardom.
His hard work is paying off and he can do things with the ball that few others can

God I absolutely hate out fanbase. 2 out of 5 post are negative. Why do Cajuns suffer from such little man syndrome?

Is he a full member on the tour? For some reason I thought he wasn't.

Johnny Miller can't stand watching him.

Great for him, guy can really smoke the ball. Needs to settle down a little and relax, too many pre-shot swings. Garcia had a problem similar to that, but he ended up working it out. Good luck to him,

In his defense, he was MUCH better today - at least from what I saw on TV.

Well I can't stand listening to Johnny Miller sooooo.

Screw Johnny and Geaux Loupe!

Congrats to him on the great tournament. I'm sure he learned a few things and will use them to his advantage in the near future.

Does he get any exemptions for top 5 finish, or is he already a tour card member?

He got his card a few months ago in the Web.com Playoff Tournament.

I'm looking forward to following him this year. Today he got put on the clock early and it seemed to bother him for the middle part of his round. He finished off the round much better. He really needs to learn from this and get some help with his mental approach to pulling the trigger . He can def play though.

On the 18th hole he hit a shot and someone in the gallery yelled LSU!

Matt Kuchar and the winner may not be the longest hitters out there, but Loupe was flying his 3 wood past those guys all day. And that up and down on 16 was big time.

He also won $273k and got an entry into this week's Shell Houston Open...
