With the way the offense has played this year, we will score points on anyone left on the schedule!

With that said our defensive effort yesterday points to us also giving up points to anyone left on our schedule as we'll! I don't think there is an immediate fix for this years defense. Some point to youth an inexperience, others to lack of talent, others still say our recruiting must improve, and others say coaches on the defensive side must go! With that said some of these problems are not an overnight fix, so we shouldn't be surprised when some of these issues pop up again. Now if Chavis can find a way to plug some leaks through some personnel changes and coaching up players on mistakes, then there is hope!

Think about the last four or five years we have said if our offense could just be top 50-60 in the country, then our great defense will shut the other team down and we win any game we play!

I think we find out a lot at Ole Miss! Georgia was a top five offense in the nation, with a senior QB! Teams will score points on us, and some of the fixes we probably need are not overnight! But can we stop the other team enough! If we can all our goals can still be reached!

The problem is, you still have to be able to play defense, too. Bama showed yesterday that if you can stop the other guy, your offense doesn't need to be All-World.
