I can't lie I did chuckle. God forgive me!
Is this the Amtrak that everyone from Louisiana rides going to the game? I use to know a lot of people from the Thibodaux area that use to take that trip they said it was freaking awesome!

Said the train had already stopped in Tuscaloosa but that there were still 50 or so were still on the train (assume they are staying in Birmingham).

BESSEMER, Ala. - The driver of a dump truck was killed after an Amtrak train that was carrying several LSU fans struck the truck between Tuscaloosa and Birmingham Friday, according to WIAT-TV.
WWL-TV's Mike Hoss and our television crew were on the train and they along with several Tiger fans got off in Tuscaloosa, where the game will be played. Some Tiger fans continued on to Birmingham and were apparently on the train. WIAT said that the driver of the truck was killed.
A Tweet by Jamie Ostroff of WIAT said that truck parts were thrown as far as 30 feet. He said no one on the train was hurt.

""We were in the dining car, toward the front of the train," Duplessis said. "My back was to the engine and I felt a thump and we saw a big ball of smoke. As the train passed, I saw something flipping, saw lots of dust, and then the train came to a stop."
Duplessis said the train departed New Orleans Friday morning and had just let off about 100 LSU fans in Tuscaloosa before the accident happened. She says her group of about 50 people is taking the train to Birmingham where they plan to stay the night before heading to Tuscaloosa on a charter bus Saturday.
"The first engine is damaged so they told us they are going to pull that off and try to get the second engine to pull us to Birmingham," she said.
The accident happened at a railroad crossing in Bessemer, about 15 miles from Birmingham.
