Some amazing stuff this season (after 8 games):

Patrick peterson: 21 tackles, 3 INT, 9 PD
Eric reid: 39 tackles 3 INT and 6 PD
Tyrann mathieu: 49 tackles, 1 sack, 2 FF, 2 INT, 5 PD
Michael Brockers: 20 tackles, 3.5 sacks
Keke Mingo: 20 tackles, 4.0 sacks
........

They are recruited by Les, and developed by Chief. They perform great and represent LSU well in the next level, if not better than Alabama's players. They just start their careers, and the sky will be the limit. The same probably will happen to Zach, Jarvis, Hill and Odo, ... in the next few years.

My point is that our coaches have done some great jobs to recruit and develop players and always keep games close even we lost. I am sure they will bring the best of our players in "The Game" and fight like hell.

Let's keep supporting our beloved tigers and help recruiting more future LSU legends!!!

I support the Tigers

Coaches, not so much, all due respect they could do better with in-game decisions (timeouts, playcalling) and half time adjustments (none).

We have a good coach, just not great and its too bad that we now expect great (spoiled).

If we give credit to Les for the losses why are we giving another coach credit for developing the players?

Les should get all the credit. His players, his program.

Add in Reuben Randle and Stevan Ridley for offense

Ridley was injured for a game, benched the second half of his first game and hasn't gotten carries til the second quarter of his last 3 games but he has

399 yards 4 TDs 6 rec 51 yards

His last 3 games (where he didn't get a snap until the second quarter)
20 car 96 yards 2 TDs, 1 rec 14 yards
11 car 50 yards 1 TD, 2 rec 3 yards
14 car 79 yards 1 TD

They'd rather less talented guys tote the rock than him.

Reuben Randle is doing pretty nice at 373 4 TDs as a #3 receiver my bad lol.

Coaches do not give some of these kids their born talent. Mathieu for example is just a football player and wasn't taught the things he does. Coaches just got lucky that no one like Bama, UF, USC, etc. Didn't come calling to the likes of Mathieu, Brockers, etc. or else we wouldn't even be sitting here talking about a chance with Bama next weekend we would be talking about how much of an arse whipping we are going to recieve for the 3rd or 4th straight time. Sometimes you just get lucky and that is what Miles has been. His luck has ran out on the last two or so classes besides Hill and it's showing.

We are 2-2 against Alabama in our last four games and only a retard or troll would refer to the 2012 game as a arse whipping.

What I said is if Bama would have lucked up and offered Mathieu and Brockers we would be receiving our 3rd or 4th straight loss to them. We do not win 11/5 without both of those guys.

2-2

Im so sick of seeing this also. We are 0-2 against Bama the last two times the only times that really count. Everyone except a handful of players are gone before those two games. It doesn't take a rocket scientist either to figure out Bama's program keeps rising while ours has kind of stayed about the same.

So with all that amazing talent, why do we not have a NC to show for it?? Sabans "lesser talent" went to the NFL with 3 rings. Oh yeah, that's right, the schedule and mulligan!! Sorry, carry on.

Sometimes, great teams don't win championships. It happens. Winning a NC is frequently a once-in-a-generation occurrence. What Alabama is doing is historic, and you're mad because that could have been us with Nick. But it isn't, and it won't be, so deal.

Does it scare you or bum you out that all of these kids could have played for LSU these last 2 years?

Lucky??? Maybe, just maybe the coaches should get credit for recognizing the talent and potential when others didn't. What you call luck most call good recruiting.

Alabama is having a great run, but you have to be some kind of football idiot not see that they have been awarded an amazing subsidy by both the SEC and BCS during this current run.

I don't think it takes anything away from their program to admit it, but it does show the telling bias of those who gloss over the advantage they received over LSU and the rest of the SEC in both 2011 and this year.
