Am I the only one concerned that Fisher seems a little "permissive?"

Florida State has returned to the thuggish program Bowden had in place. And as for Winston, Fisher seemed to cross the line in just protecting his player.

I want to win the SEC again and get to the playoffs. But I don't want LSU looking like Miami or Florida State either.

I worry about this as well. Saban also has a tendency to have players that stay in trouble.

Eh happens at every program that wins, including LSU.
Saban perfected it here and has continued it at bama.

as long as they make bail before the game. if they can't do that, and serve their jail time during the off season, then we don't need them.

Let's not forget the fact that LSU has had their fair share of players getting in trouble too. Miles did what he had to do to win just like Jimbo and every other coach. Remember the team vote for Jeremy Hill?

Take off your purple glasses. We've been competing for the fulmer cup and have been far more thuggish than either FSU or Miami.

A lot of FSU's approach with the Jameis situation dealt with outside influences having a say in the matter. We saw this from the disciplinary actions on the team to the dismissive police department. Not saying Jimbo didn't have a say in the matter, but like we are seeing at LSU, those that cut the checks are the ones really calling the shots.

FSU is a thuggish school. Most of their supporters don't care about players behavior.

It's hard to control what your players do. As mentioned already, Les took a lot of shite for the Jeremy Hill "team vote" for reinstatement. We've had starting QBs (JJ and AJ) who were arrested before different seasons. Some people just make stupid decisions. But yes, it is up to the coach to hand out punishment and send messages. I thought Fisher seemed weak during the Winston fiasco.

Hmm,of all the posts on the coaching issue, I'm surprised this one got the anchor.
