Am I the only one who didn't think OSU looked untouchable? Yes, I am aware they beat us 13-1.

We put some good swings on the ball early in the game that just didn't find the holes had a very odd situation with Walker that disrupted the bullpen game plan. Mix in too many walks and an un-timely error and it was a downhill spiral that we created. We were flat.

I fully expect the #1 team in the country to come up with timely hitting and drive in runs when we put so many runners on base.

Hammer me with down votes if you will, but if we have the chance to play OSU again after FSU on Wednesday, I expect a much more competitive game.

Don't count these tigers out just yet...

They weren't unbeatable. We walked a dozen, had multiple untimely errors, and a few poor base running decisions. They took advantage of that like good teams do. Can't give all of that to a team with 4 losses all year.

They looked good for sure. But over the season you see games like this happen and you come back the very next game and scratch out a win. It happens. We can beat them. Would we win in a three game series, idk.

I agree. Anything can happen.. we'll likely know by the third inning tomorrow night how this team will respond. I could see them rebounding well but I could also see them being mentally deflated... time will tell

I'm not ready for the season to be over yet

We're definitely beatable. 4 teams have beat us this season. ;)

Seriously though, we're something like 14-1 in 1 run games, you have to have some ridiculously nice breaks go your way to pull that off.

But to your point, I'd personally much rather face FSU on Friday night than you guys. A win Wednesday and some big time chip on the shoulder/revenge factor on tap from LSU on Friday -> I don't like the thought of that. Then if you win Friday, we become the team feeling all the pressure IMO.

Amazing how so many people feel they need to add these little statements at the end of their post like it's an insurance policy for voicing their opinion. Lol

I think they just wanted it more last night.

We are much better than what we played last night.

This isn't LSUs first bad outing this season though. If scores were reversed, we'd be saying Oregon State sucks, played a weak schedule.

Oregon State has lost 4 out of 60 games all year. That is 1 every 15 games. Think about that. I don't care how bad your schedule is that is insane. LSU got beat by a great team last night. I do believe LSU can beat that team and definitely are not twelve runs worst than them.

I am not giving up on them at all but people acting like LSU lost a game to Southern last night. Hopefully these 18-22 year olds have more mental toughness than some grown men on this board have and will come out ready to whip the Seminoles.

Still doesn't change the fact that if Vanderhook doesn't prematurely pull his starter, OSU would be one game from elimination right now.

Quality team, yes, but when people go on about unbeatable, I feel like I'm taking stupid pills.

I don't think you are crazy. This is baseball. Sometimes you come out flat and get crushed and the next night you do the crushing because the other team's ace is off.

LSU is lucky that Poche' came in for 30 pitches against FSU and pitched great. He was able to clear his head from the Supers. For the FSU, Poche' is going to be the spark that lights the fire. K-Rob is an emotional leader but so is Poche' and that gets him trouble sometimes. But we need that right now to jump start the bats.

I actually think that playing Wednesday with a chance to get the bats going would be better for this offense than sitting for a week and waiting.

I would not be surprised to see OSU flat in a Friday rematch, if we are able to get there. Mentally, it's hard to overcome blowing a team out and not expecting the same result.

Someone mentioned 18-22 year old kids. That's right. I don't care how good of a team you are. At that age, you can't sit on that kind of a win for 5 days before a rematch and not expect the other team to just fold. Just have to take care of business tomorrow.

We done. Fsu handed us the game and OSU is on another level. I don't think this team is a championship ball club. We're a top 5-6 team but not #1

Too many young guns on this board that always think they have to one up someone for no other reason than to boost their ego.
