Hopefully Les will learn a lesson from this and let the OC do their job

We'll see if Booger's idea pans out (get a new OC and tell Les to keep his hands off).

I said all along that he deserved another season, I'm happy for him. He is not at the level of Nick Saban and he never will be, but he deserves next season, he earned it.

n other words, Jimbo turned them down, and there apparently was no Plan B. So now, they're left right where they started.

The Truth! Alleva should be the one to go now. He let this whole fiasco drag on thinking he had Jimbo in the bag. When that fell through he had nothing. What a retard!

throughout this ordeal, Booger has made the most sense. I love Les, but I wanted him gone. And I was gonna miss that crazy fricker. I sat in my living room in that 4th quarter, listening to "Don't let it End" by Styx (great song, by the way), and I had tears in my eyes because I was gonna miss Les. But I also felt letting him go with the right move. Les loves coaching LSU. and that job was almost taken from him because he is a stubborn fricker. He will learn the lesson. He will get an OC and let him run with it. Hell, Cam might actually be the guy if Les stays out of the way.

Totally agree...it's time for LSU to move on. Pink slips to, first and foremost, Alleva. Second: Les Inches.

The only thing I can think of is that today was Les' last hoorah in complete coaching control of the LSU football program. The only reason for keeping him is simply to demote him to GM of this team. If Cam isn't fired and an OC isn't given complete control of this offense, something is wrong. We will be in this exact same seat next year unless major major changes are made

No hate to Miles I respect everything he has done for us over the years but the fact that we are ranked sixth the past three years in the SEC, cannot develop a QB, the constant dumb penalties, horrible clock management, we hear all the talk about us being one of the top recruiting classes in the country and can't do better than our sorry record is pathetic and there obviously needs to be a change.. Next year it will be the same old song and dance.

probably just hire another fricking fired or demoted coach.

like les loves to do.

no great oc will want to come given the unknown circumstances.. most fringe great oc's are looking for hc jobs.. even at small schools.. not to move somewhere else as an oc.. especially if the coaching staff is a mess and on the hot seat..

The final nail Saban would have put in our coffin would be Les leaving and is slipping into an abysmal mess like Tennessee or Texas. Les is better than 95% of the coaches out there...the other 5% aren't leaving their jobs any time soon.
