All the admin did was float the hot seat story, and that was absolutely the right decision for several reasons: you needed to gauge fan and recruit response, you needed to see how the state would react on the money issue, you have to see if Les finally sees the writing on the wall, and lastly you must know if the right replacement coach is interested.

This morning, they had the nerve to outline all of the issues the program has under Les and how they must be addressed after spending weeks vilifying the school for putting him on the hot seat in the first place. The boosters and admins made a play for Jimbo and they couldn't get him. PERIOD. I'm personally glad they are not emotionally blinded by Les and his quirky charm. they are willing to do whatever it takes to sustain the program's success.
