I do seem to recall him giving a certain head football coach an extension not so long ago, that as it seems wasn't a very wise financial or business decision.

New baseball field, softball field (even though he had just got here), tennis complex, basketball practice facility... our individual programs collectively are maybe the best they've ever been right now.
His last three hires are Johnny Jones (good), Beth Torina (great), and Nikki Caldwell (meh, but she hasn't been terrible).
Obviously, Alleva certainly doesn't deserve credit for all of this, but to call him incompetent is just retarded.

Best season ever with a cherry on top, right? Worst coaching job in the history of college football. However, I do think Miles would be a good AD.

Cmon man, acting like Alleva is some saint ridiculous. He damn near tripled Nikki caldwell's salary to get her from UCLA. He allowed former players to completely dictate his most recent coaching hire. The way he's allowed this current situation to spiral completely out of control. There's plenty to dislike about Alleva.

So 13-1 and an SEC title means nothing?
He'd just completed maybe the best or 2nd best 3-year run in school history.
