It was probably based more on "hope" and not actual "thought" that he might have gotten that one right. So, his sheety record is still safe.

But he handles crisis situations extremely well, that's why we NEED HIM. If a problem ever arises he is always out in front of it to save the university embarrassment. He's an expert at dealing with major situational problems. Joe is a natural leader that handles things the right way with dignity.

Maybe one day ESPN will do a 30 for 30 on him

He's a good guy, you're right. Hell all the coaches we have are good guys, doesn't necessarily equal good coaches. Smoke Laval was a good guy, need I say more

Prepare to be downvoted. Not by me, but by the Joe Alleva Comment Downvoting Army. For some unexplainable reason, there's a silent faction on td that support him. They don't really comment much about him because his job performance is inexcusable, underperforming, and completely under the bar of what it takes to build competitive sports programs in the SEC. He's a shitty AD and we could really do so much better.

I don't know why LSU hasn't gone out and tried to hire Dan Radakovich as our AD. Dude has been very successful since leaving LSU. I always enjoyed my interactions with him when he was at LSU. Good guy.
