LSU is loaded. Good not great QB play next year could put LSU in the final 4. Beating OM and outplaying Bama with literally half of an offense this year is impressive. D will be very strong next year. Valentine is a monster. LF will be insane as will Dupre. Even with average QB play this team will be hard to beat.

Everything is sitting right there for this team. Usually a team has at least 2 areas of concern. Next year this team's only concern will be QB. OL is not a concern next year. It will be solid.

Or an offensive system that utilizes the QB's and talent we have.

Once you stop believing how awesome players are, it will make 7-5 seasons easier to swallow.

It's been well established by Miles' actions that our offensive system is not changing.

So go out and get a QB that fits your system.

Look at the last decade. Anytime Miles goes out and recruits the ATH type QB made for spread offenses, we struggle offensively.

I don't care if they are a top recruit. If he isn't geared towards that 60's type power offense, then we don't need him at QB.

ETA: His system offensively is feasible. But he needs to get pocket passers. Not ATH QB's that haven't taken a snap under center , then try to mold them. Do that, and let LSU special teams and defense do the rest.

I agree. That is the only missing piece of the puzzle right now and this is not the first time that was the case.

That trumps almost every other strength LSU has.

No! It is not AJ, it is Cam's system. Harris will not be any better. It is a system that relies on pro throws, with little imagination. And in case you missed it, there aren't any pro-level qb's out there as Freshmen/sophomores.

Look at Ohio State, plug in a redshirt freshman, and things keep clicking. System that relies on easy throws and imagination.

Miles is the one that recruits the running QB. We had drop back passers in our system and they all left because it was clear that Miles wants a running QB. It makes no sense, he kepts recruiting running QB's and putting them in the I formation with 2 TE's. The problem is with the person who will not recruit and play QB's that fit 'his' system.
