I hope we go undefeated and win it all, but I am a Miles' critic.

But it is because of what he has done or better yet failed to do. And your point is taken as long as you allow the opposite to be true....which is, he has the talent to win that many, but if he don't he has failed again and should be GONE!

You agree?

"You agree?"

yep....we have the talent, I just don't think we have the coaching to get us there. We have another Larry Coker on our hands.

I hope we win 10+ games this year. I know we criticize Miles a lot, but I think we are at point where we just want to win regardless of the coach. We want to see LSU football, exciting football. I am tired of hearing from my friends from other SEC schools that we are the laughing stock of college football.

I am a huge Miles supporter. I really like him as a person of integrity. The last two seasons have not been up to the standard that LSU has recently enjoyed. I understand the problems we have and why we have had them. If they cannot be corrected this season (at least 10 wins) and a productive offense, I will wish him well and say it is time to look elsewhere. But I'll support him thoughout this season.

Clearly LSU has some of the dumbest fans in America....or are they just attracted to TD.com?

If your predictions come true, this would be a near perfect year.

If we are a laughingstock what does that make the other 9 schools who are not LSU, Florida and Alabama?

This is sarcasm, right?
Let me see how this works in your mindset. The players sort of get together during the week before the game and like work out some neat plays and then on Saturday just go out and do what they want and LSU wins?
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Miles is an average coach that ENTIRELY relies on his assistants. LSU fans issues aren't just with the record. People seem to think records is the end all be all, but its not. Watching the team go from a very efficient and consistent team to completely lost in almost all phases of the game is what worries most.

In the end, Miles' fate is in his own hands. For the salary he gets, he needs to put up or get out. That said, we may not be able to get another currently top tier coach to replace him, but we don't need to. We can bring in an up and comer. I am not so sure why people are so against this. They can't be any less organized than this group of coaches.

this kind of statement is where many of you lose your argument

9 wins is not enough for LSU and it wasn't a pretty nine wins but "completely lost in almost all phases of the game" kind of teams don't win 5 games, much less 9

bring on the "but they were close ugly wins" crowd

And you know this.....how? How many coaches' meetings have you attended in the past couple of years? How many team meetings? How many practices?
Please stop. You are a fool.

Are we one of the most desired programs of recruits under Miles? Check

Has he won a NC at LSU? Check

Has he won the west multiple times? Check

Has he shown he grows from mistakes? Check

Unless the teams puts in a season like 2008 there really isn't a reason to criticize him. He had a bad 2008 season based off of a few problems that weren't all his fault. The team then rebounded and was more competitive with a season that ended with a top 25 ranking.

The RP situation alone messed up our whole QB development. The team this year has expeirence and solid players to lead eeryrime unit on the team.

Has he had no better than an average record in the SEC during the past two seasons. CHECK.

Whether he wins 10 and Mich. hires him away or whether he loses 6 and we fire him, LSU will be better off.
