Really wished he could've been on one of today's teams with a Chavis defense.

With the ball in his hands, I don't know if there was a better player in the history of our conference - maybe Walker or Jackson.

Certainly beat Houston all by himself - and was clearly the difference in over a dozen games he played for us.

#3 seem to really evolve as a runner after getting injured and watching Collins bring more of an aggressive style of running the football.. Pre injury ( Collins first real game action was aginst Moo St in the beginning of the 97 season) I noticed KF3 would get to the edge, turn the corned then step out of bounds, after the injury you saw KF3 start delivering blows and have runs similar to the one in the clip, which was at the latter part of the 97 season..

That being said these are two of my favorite LSU backs, and it was really fun to watch them play.

Faulk is my favorite player of all time. I was in 6th grade when he began playing at LSU and I was amazed by his playing style. I loved watching him return punts. He was a great punt returner becasue of his patience. Anyone remember his returns at Notre Dame? He single handly almost beat ND.

Didn't LSU lose that game... Tim Couch I think was the qb for KY?

ETA: Nevermind, I am thinking of the LSU / KY game in 1998; LSU lost 36-39 to KY. In 1997 LSU beath KY 63-28.

One year we beat them bad at UK, like 63-24.

I know the game you're talking about though, in BR..UK won on a last second FG.39-36 in 1998

Funny how times change, and how I can be made to feel old. As someone who was in college with those girls, they looked damn good at the time. We used to look back at the cheerleaders from the early 80s and think the same thing!

Purse Snatcher throwing the block at the goal line.
