I watch all on my Roku but I don't think my SEC network alternate has ever worked. (Direct TV)

Smart use of the SEC Network alternate channel. Uverse has never given me any issue with it, but I've seen posters have problems watching it with other providers. You should still be able to watch SECN+ if there's an issue.

The alternate channel never works on DTV. The one time it did was for Spring Football Scrimmage games.

The alternate channel only displays content when in use, normally there is just nothing playing on it.

Well yeah. But it's never once worked for DTV when it is supposed to. I've had success using it for Uverse.
