Alexander and Battle miss too many tackles and unfortunately are weak at point of contact

At least Battle gives effort. Alexander looks like he doesn't even try sometimes

Alexander tries a helluva lot more than somebody who keeps getting put out there.

Let the freshmen play! Can't be any worse. Missing a tackle equals not being in position.

We have to practice more, this team has to earn shorter practices. They are lacking fundamentals all over the field and you can't learn that watching film.
I blame the freshman inability to recognize and do there jobs on lack of practice, granted it's hard to start as a freshman, but the guys are clueless to there assignments and that takes reps.

Been saying it for ever, more practice is the key need here.

I came to the conclusion today that last year Adams made those tackles in space that Battle is missing. And those plays are often worth big yards or critical downs.

Battle isn’t great but he plays fast. He’s probably a better player than his talent dictates he should be.

Alexander is just bad, but the alternative is Tyler Taylor and he’s not ready. He gets lost in the wash all the time and isn’t physical.

Yeah if you could stop doing kill shots and save ourselves the penalties and ejections that would be great. Wrap up son.

Does Divinity play the same position as Alexander? If so, please get him in there...he has the speed to play in space

This is the right answer.

somebody

I thought he played pretty well today and gave good effort for the most part. It looked like he got tired in the third quarter, but picked out back up with the game on the line.

I'm taking about *somebody* and not Alexander.

Right now, that somebody shouldnt even sniff the field. Rewatch the game and tell yourself you couldnt have done more. Pathetic.

after having seen the first half of the season, i've come to the conclusion that the defensive players are just soft. i can't for the life of me figure out why. they look like they just don't care. key seems to be leading the pack in this regard.
