Lot's of good seats. I'd avoid RF during the late afternoon games.

The only bad seats are the ones behind the RF wall. It's a baseball stadium. Have you never been to one? Obviously, the grandstand will be the most comfortable, but even the bleachers down the lines have back rests. No bad views/experiences.

just a general question about viewing. I realize its a small venue and not the polo grounds.

No really bad seats. They obviously give students the short-end of the stick though putting them in the corner of the stadium. Seeing the strike zone is a bitch from the lower corners down the third and first base lines

It was an honest question. I added it in with an honest answer. We have a healthy bicker, you and I, but don't patronize me, kiddo.

At that time it's not a big deal. If you ever come to a game that starts earlier then you want something on the 3rd base side. As the sun sets it fricking blinds you if you're down the right field line.

For night games all seats are decent though.

Any of those is fine for a late game (after the sun goes down). It's pretty much a matter of preference after that.

I can tell you that the closer you sit to home plate and the lower the seats to the field then the more crowded it gets. I sit down the right field line in the upper sections and it's not really ever crowded until later in the season.

If you want less crowded I'd say look around 201-203, 221-223 or anywhere in the outfield bleachers. If being crowded doesn't bother you then look anywhere... maybe try to find something on the end of a row.

Right Field afternoon could suck with the sun, but if it's a 7:00 start you should be fine.

Left field doesn't have seat backs FWIW. Everywhere else in the stadium does (I think).

Hmmmm....why do I think the real reason you started this thread is that you're so excited to be going to your first game in the new Alex Box that you want to share your news with the board?

To answer your question....

ell, the guy hasn't been to the box and was asking for advice. No need to get all pissy about it.

I get it. Everything I say reads like a fricking attack. I gave the guy advice. I also asked if he had ever been to a stadium because, if not, he'll need much more info. But please, rain on the hate. I'm used to it.
