Who was it last year that wanted Miles gone and who actually stepped in to save his job? So much rumor, politics, Jimbo is coming/no he's not, TAF raised $ for buyout or no they didn't, etc...hard to keep track of the facts? Who is pulling the strings?

Jindal wanted him to stay. TAF and boosters wanted him gone. F. King and Alleva gave in to political pressure to keep him.

F King the POS saved him, but he won't save him this time. He's going to be too busy trying to save his own job.

So does TAF have money lined up for the buyout?

Miles needs to resign, but he's too stubborn.
I see losses to MS. STate & Auburn in our near future; how quickly will they act to fire him after last years fiasco?

They will fire him Monday after Auburn game or either have forced resignation to save face. I think they like the example Steve Spurrier set last year. I also think after the leaks and fiasco last year, it's better to clear Les out of here before you make your hiring negotiations.

Piyush put us in this position. 8 years of budget cuts to higher education ultimately will have a trickle down effect no matter how independent our athletic department is.

Gone are the days of Mark Emmert understanding that athletics is a big part of LSU's branding as an academic institution.

It'll be the Ole Miss game. No way Miles keeps his job after losing to OM three years in a row.

Just one of many terrible things Jindal did for Louisiana.

Yes. The money was available last year when it was more expensive.

DaLSU was proved to be a fraud- don't you remember?

I will tell you this
The issue was the Board was split-There was a meeting had half time - King only stepped in when the board could not agree on what to do-

Muscona only repeats what he hears. He did not have inside info that night
