What we do know is that Alleva called him 2x to discuss performance. We also know that Miles yanked a underperforming starting QB. we can only assume that Miles has gotten the message and maybe, just maybe, we'll see some actual decent football for a change.

I doubt that.

I asked the question last week if the Rant though Alleva had a serious talk with Miles after the Wisconsin game.

I think the pressure was so high after last week, the powers that be demanded, or else

That was Miles showing disappointment in his team getting booed and in his trying to show remorse for Harris sitting.

It was stupid,

And we still stunk it up on the OL and our offense was out gained by JSU

Some thought after last season, Miles would be fired if he lost to Wisconsin.... I think this came from the top...

Alleva's plan all along has been to give Miles a lot of rope so he could hang himself with it.

When you want someone fired, you just give them time and they will do it for you.

Any child knows this

I agree, but I have $4.3 and $1.5 million reasons why Miles' leash is short... at 1-1

JA was quoted in The Advocate this morning as saying he talked to CLM "several times this week" but he did not reference what was discussed. He did say, at the end of the quote, that he was optimistic that this could be turned around. He also said that he knew LSU fans, as well as he, were "very disappointed in the Wis. game."
