If the players execute and beat their opp , in their one on one situation, a fb dive can go for a 45 yard TD.
It's common knowledge that ANY PLAY CAN BE SUCCESSFUL if the players execute. Even an option with a slow qb.
In college football, it's not about having tons of creative plays. IT'S ABOUT EXECUTING THE PLAYS YOU RUN.

Your correct to a certain degree. But what happens when you against top notch SEC teams Bama, Florida, etc? Even when you do execute your blocks and plays correctly sometimes they still fail. Why? because your opponent is as good as you and at certain position better. Oh my God the horror!!!! A opponent has a better player at some positions than LSU? Certainly I must not be a real LSU fan for even thinking this? lol. My point is that at this level your not always going to have the best at every position. But this doesn't mean you still can't win the game. This is where coaching and the scheme your running takes over and can get you over the top. LSU's current scheme is killing them and hindering talented players. LSU insists on loading up at the line and trying to hammer the ball against teams like Florida and Bama. How is this supposed to be successful when they can just load up and stuff it. In these cases you have to create creases and mismatches with you play calling and scheme and clearly this is not happening.
