I'm an LSU student who got to the ticket office at 7 o clock, and the best seat they gave us for upper deck was NN row 20....like seriously Bama gumps?

BTW they only gave us about 100 lower seating tickets, and you needed all the home games, 2 away games, and 2 smaller point events to get them.

It's almost the same for every school. Bama did nothing different.
A lot of fairly decent donors sitting up in the bleeds.

My dad and I were given tickets from one of our friends, a gump fan, to sit in LSU's section. I know CSB.

However, my question is how the frick did he have those tickets in the first place?

LSU really needs to boot opponents out of the TS SEZ lowers. At least scatter them like all schools do to us. BAMA UF and the barn are always loud in the sez.

It's been that way at least since 2007. I remember that year it didn't matter how many priority points you had, you had to sit in the upper deck. The only people in the lower section were from the SG bus trip. I was pissed that I had planned the trip for months and these johnny-come-latelies decide to go on the bus trip on a whim and got the best seats.

Not always true. Tennessee gave visiting students prime seats right with the band - field level. Auburn usually gives 1/3 of seats lower and 2/3 upper.

LSU gives opposing fans way more than 100 lower bowl tickets.

Yes. And between the whole section of NN, MM, and small part of LL it probably is close to 1k total if I had to guess.

So did Bama. It just took more points to get the Bama lower levels.
Bama definitely gives the shaft on lower level seating though. I wish LSU would follow suit.

While the majority of the visitors seats in BDS are upper-deck, LSU distributes their allotment to their fans. So, it was LSU who only gave students 100 lower level seats.

I'd say that this is about right. Most of these tickets aren't available to the common man and that includes "low" number TAF people...

Exactly. And most schools give about 4 or 5 of their first few rows on the goal line to 15 yd line or so to the visitors...because they really don't offer a great field view, so LSU gives them to the students. Just like most schools do.
