Multiple sets, sometimes running same plays out of several formations, many different "wrinkles" to same dive, trap, sweep, etc.
lots of short routes to complete passes & keep moving the chains
WR screens, quick screen, slants, Cooper on a drag as the check down, rubs, etc.

We know that Saban is by nature very conservative offensively. Yet, he has opened it up substantially, especially starting with1/9/12. And that was the beginning of a dominating run that has caused much heartburn in Tigerland.

So why can't CLM see the difference that a small philosophical change has made in the rivalry, especially in light of Saban having 3 (I think) differenct offensive coordinators? How many times do we have to get our face rubbed in it before he mandates/allows a change?

I like CLM but this crap is getting old & if you are satisfied with the past 2 years you are simply a casual observer instead of a real fan.

Alabama scored 25 or fewer points in four SEC games this year, less than 29 in regulation three times. They weren't without struggles.

Kinda hard to have a dynamic offense when the QBs can't give you consistent play. Next year should be better. Look at what we did last year. I'd expect more of that.

Oh, and Blake Sims is a senior.

Les should just "try" to step away and let Cam run the offense for a season. I think yall would be pleasantly surprised.

They sucked arse too on offense early in season.
Shows what a competent qb that actually progresses during the season will do for you.

Put 30 mother frickers in the NFL but can't have an offense that can get 200 yards a game.
It boggles my fricking brain everytime I think about it.

Fact is it's what holds LSU back from where those gumps are.

80% of his passes are rinky dink dumps. Simple shite that we apparently can't do.

Doesn't take a goddamned senior to do that.

Blake sims being a senior doesnt make much difference. He doesnt make "senior" plays. He just does what he's asked

Especially when he spent 2 years as a running back.

Alabama's offensive scheme is actually pretty simple. It's just designed to play to the team's strengths and well executed by a group of guys who actually use their talent to make plays.

He competed 15 of 17 in the first half for almost 200 yards.

Same guy many gumps wanted benched this year.

Watching this dude this year get better really makes me wonder about AJs ability.

LSU ran the same things last year.

Max protect, one or two players in the pattern. We know the reason why it worked last year.

But they didn't have a shut-out, a 3 point game & a 10 point game. Hard to win those.

But the real telling numbers are:

Against common SEC opponents, gumps scored 212 points to our 99. Doesn't include our game against them.

What Kiffen brings in addition to play calling is he disguises the plays beautifully. You have no idea what they are going to do.
