You will find lots of people selling tickets. They will just be asking more than normal.

Cool story. Two years ago two different buddies gave me tickets as gifts (I was heading to basic training soon thereafter) and I wound up only needing two. I walked around until I found a father there with his son looking to buy tickets and gave them to him.

Pay it forward Rantards!

In the mid to late 80's this is how I attended one or two games a year. Still brings back great memories.
I'm busy with family and life events, but I get free tickets all of the time now. Love when I can give them away to a father and son standing around looking for tickets.

You'll pay at least $200 each upper deck from a stranger.

Generally even for a game like Bama, you can get tickets out there for under $100 each.

I was just referencing the Bama game. Most games you can get tickets out there for $20 or less.

Have this same question, I'll be coming in from North Texas and the prices on StubHub scare me a little bit. Don't want to spend more than 100/ticket, is this a realistic goal or do I need to bring more cash? I'm going to be on campus regardless but I would love to get a ticket for me and the little lady.

You'll prob. need a lot more cash IF, LSU and or bama are still "in contention". You may obviously get lucky but there will be slim pickings for those "offering" $100/ticket. You could also implement the wait till kickoff/just after strategy...lol

That's the plan, because like I said, I'm going to be on campus anyway.

2012 I got one for $50 and a beer. It was minutes before kick off. 2nd row of the west upper. If you're willing to wait you can get lucky.
