That tackle looks small for a lineman.

Knowing what we are going to do and stopping it are two different things.

6-6, 310. Definitely not small. Widely considered the top OT prospect in the upcoming draft. We're certainly hoping he elects to stay for his senior campaign. Our tackles against your ends will be a very juicy battle. I think you guys definitely have an advantage up the middle. I expect A&M to roll the pocket and try to get Johnny setup outside of containment, but your team speed will make that very difficult.

No he's not. Lewan and Fluker are ahead of him.
He is very good though.

Luke Joeckel is actually the top rated OT by a long shot; top 10 overall on most big boards. Fluker isn't even getting a 1st round grade any longer.

This. Everyone in the entire country knows what we are going to do. Same with Bama. We are going to run the ball up your throat with the occasional PA pass. Try and stop it. It's big boy football.

we got the whole mis direction thing corrected but I don't see us keeping Johnny from getting some big runs if yall can be successful mixing it up early.

If it works. Maybe some throws to the TE?

If your DL gets caught up in the moment and elects to rush at Manziel, he'll probably make you pay. But if they're disciplined and rush straight up the field with gap control and containment, it could spell trouble for the Ags.

I think this is going to be one of the more entertaining games I've seen in a long time. The X's and O's chess match should be a lot of fun.

I know everyone is focused on the strengths of our two teams (LSU D v. A&M O; but I think the outcome boils down to one simple concept (outside of the obligatory penalties & turnovers)...can the Aggies stop the run? The concept may be simple, but the task will be far from it. I think our DL and LBs will be up to the task, but we have struggled mightily with perimeter tackling this year.
