I have been a member of this board for nearly a year. From time to time I have posted various comments here. Lately I have refrained since I have come to believe that it makes little or no real difference.
This past year I learned a new word "negatiger" I have been amused at the sheer stupidity of most of the persons posting on this site as such. I have read more about the Ole Miss game of 2009 football season and this year's game against the Volunteers than just about anything else.I read how the head coach of LSU and the OC needed to be sent packing. I have read "spins" that make the aforementioned coaches as being goats and at other times as masters of their craft.

It is difficult for someone to argue with actual success yet on this board it seems to be the central theme. Regardless how anyone would respond to such negative comments, it seemed to be fruitless. Lets face it.. a true negatiger is a 17-22 year single male who spends most of his time either playing Lords of Warcraft, listening to Weezer,Ludo or Justin Bieber or watching internet porn. He know little of nothing about real football since he never played it. He probably played cello in the Junior High "orchestra" instead. He is not only not a Tiger fan but any sort of fan. It is not in his DNA. Trying to "reason" with him is a monumental waste of time. I realize his opinion and his rants are like radio static.

I live in Central Texas about 60 miles North of Austin. Everyone here are huge UT fans. Burnt Orange is more than a color here. When I visit my local favorite pub wearing LSU apparel I am bombarded with "Hook Em Horns" comments. I am reminded how the Mad Hatter is a buffoon as well as a poor coach. I am told "he can not coach himself out of a paper bag" and I am reminded of the ends of the Ole Miss game of 2009 and the Tennessee game of this past season. "CLOCK MANAGEMENT !!!" is their mantra. I am informed that LSU cheats(because everyone else does). I simply remind them that LSU has won two National Championships in the last ten years and that no other team in America has won more. I remind them that The Tigers have had four 11 win seasons in the past six years. I remind them that the SEC has won five National Championships in a row and more than half of every BCS National Championship games ever played. I remind them that the Tigers finished the 2010 season with a 11-2 season with a huge win in Dallas while their Longhorns finished the season 5-7 and only won a Frisbee golf game or two at Austin's Zilker Park. My Aggie friends kept shouting "BTHO" in my ear prior to the Cotton Bowl and now claim I should accept the win and wait till next year when I try to rub in the thumping we handed to them.

Les Miles visits with the AD of Michigan. No one really states for sure if an offer is actually made to him. He decides to stay at LSU and is given an extension. He continues to be in the top ten in recruiting. The future looks bright for my beloved Tigers. As a result, the Negatigers seem to be quiet at the present but I fear that although dormant, they shall return.

I feel we are all entitled to bemoan our team (regardless of who "our team" is). I realize that even though we want to win every time, that sometimes (as the Aggies say) time runs out before we can win. We are all "Monday Morning Quarterbacks". But there is no room for "Negatigers" not here and not anywhere.
