I continue to get more and more down trodden listening to Miles, he is in complete denial and that is extremely bad news for LSU. He continues to see his offensive scheme as if there is nothing wrong with it and the players just need to execute better. That is his entire thought process and has been for the past 5 years. The proof is Miles keeps doing the same thing over and over again and keeps saying the same stuff over and over again.

Les the game has passed you by simple as that and he is way too stubborn to see it or try and keep up with it. Les is like that little kid in the sand box that truly can't see that square pegs don't go in round holes no matter how hard you hammer them harder and harder to try and make them fit.

I truly feel this is going to be a shite show this year with what T White said after the game.

quote:

We knew what was at stake this season. Our goal is to win it all and to go undefeated. It's a hurtful feeling. The guys in the locker room are hurting so bad. All that we can do is move forward, come back to work on Monday, and try to get better.

To me is sounds like the players are starting to question coaching and when that happens any further issues like the Wisco game usually means you start to lose the locker room. But Miles is way to stubborn and what I fear is way to clueless to understand the precipice of where his football team is right now.

At this point I truly feel 9-3 is the best we can do and 7-5 is truly a likely possibility.

Sounded like a defeated man.

It was like a funeral. Even the pumpers that call in gave him the business.

Not looking good, at all, going forward.

This is the beginning of the fall like Texas. Les is killing the program just like Mack did. I just hope LSU can get a coach in here to turn things around!

Keep the faith young buck. When the potential end of your career is staring you in the face with a pitchfork, maybe shite will change.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him turn things around and right the ship. Regardless of how we feel about the coach, I still support the team

Hopefully our president, AD and boosters spent more time addressing the needed change during the off season than Mile and his staff spent addressing the season during the off season.

If not, we're probably not going to be happy with the next HC hire, and the program is going to be on a decade long type of decline.

The press conference should have been his firing.

He looked defeated
He proved that he lied to the AD and Pres and LSU/Fans about change
He did not have our team ready to compete (With his arse on the line)

What else do they need?

kind of depends on the size of the square compared to size of the round hole.

Here's the thing. Les is right about execution and there were some really good play calls. He is despondent because he knows how bad his offensive line is. They have not recruited a decent fricking tackle to trot out there. That's on him and Grimes. It's on him and Grimes to have a blocking scheme that doesn't confuse the shite out of those linemen. If the line can't figure out who to block there isn't a play out there that will work.

What do you want him to say.
He's never gonna come out and tell you anything you want to here.
Saban had Hurts as the #3 QB you think he was going to tell USC what is QB rotation would be like.

Which is what is so confusing about all of this. The wake up call supposedly already happened.

Ok so help me with this one then. When you are 4 quarters away from getting fired "last year prior to TAMU game" and he knew that, what constitutes "being stared down with a pitchfork ending your career at LSU" because to me that pretty much nails it on the head and as EVERYONE saw this past Saturday NOTHING CHANGED!!!!!

I hate to disagree with you because if I am right then my beloved Tigers are in for some tumultuous times going forward, and believe me I WANT to be wrong.

Believe me Miles knew the last thing his coaching tenure at LSU could afford was exactly what happened this past Saturday. He knew that laying an egg with all the returning starters and seniors and the pre-season hype regarding our ranking was a the preverbal "one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peal" and he didn't change a damn thing. To me it just proves Miles is going down with his ship everybody be damned and that isn't good for LSU!!!!

And he's right. Have you looked at the analyses of the botched plays? The video shows excellent play calls and poor execution. Sorry, that's the truth.

But what difference does it make? Why are you "Bad scheme guys" so interested in arguing about that? If it's bad play calling that's Miles' fault. If it's bad execution that too is Miles' fault.

Either way, if he doesn't run the table we need a new coach. let the new guy figure out what needs to be changed.
