The majority of you ARE WRONG!
LSU lost to Clemson, and this wasn't a Championship team because:::
Two stalwarts in the secondary were at the saem time vulnerable in the pass... i.e. Reid and Simon...
Both admirable talents, but not DOMINANT
Clemson's Hopkins ate LSU alive
And Clemson made plays at the right time, LSU did not... LSU gave them a few first downs fron Dline infractions.... Clemson completed passes when they needed to .. LSU did not...
50/50 Mettenberger and the Offensive Line..
Maybe 70/30 O-line fault.... but Mett was off a few times on cross patterns, and two deep balls... but he was rushed time after time due to protection...
NOTHING TO DO WITH COACHING... ALL ABOUT THE PLAYERS...
Hopkins beat LSUs best.... Players made mistakes giving Clemson first downs.... O-line struggled on the turf against Clemson, Mettenberger was shaky in crucial times...
Nothing to do with PLAYCALLING! NOTHING!
I look forward to the new crop of DBs in White, Robinson, Willis?, Jefferson?, Brazil?...
All in all... this board is awful!

i don't disagree with that, BUT 2nd and 2 and 3rd and 2 you run the football when you have a shaky qb. done and over with

It actually was the playcalling. No reason for 3 straight passes that lost the game for us..score should've been 24-22 LSU.

As much as you'd like to think, I still don't give a frick about the Peach Bowl and I really didn't before the game either.

At some point when you go seven years with an offense that ranks near the bottom of all teams you have to stop blaming player execution.

Who recruits the players? If the players can't get the job done, then you need to get better players and that falls on the coaches. Les is 100% responsible for the program.

We scored a lot of points last year off special teams and defensive touchdowns. How does that excuse the offense for being terrible? You can't rely on having a player like Mathieu every single year to supplement your offense.

Our scheme sucks....plain and simple. Ware in-You know what LSU is doing. Ford in-Same. If they give JH 20+ carries, EVEN with Clemson outgaining us, LSU wins.
