It not just about the stadium.
Its about: stadium workers, cops, roads to get to game, fans getting to game, hotels for team and fans, airports, rental cars, restaurants, sewers, water mains etc etc

exactly, how do these coonies expect to accommodate 80,000 people in a stadium for 4 hours without running water?

maybe it gets fixed, but dont think it is yet

I am curious why the governor/commander of state police/head honchos of response teams/etc did not make the call on this and just say it ain't happening here.

The running water problem won't be fixed by Saturday more than likely. The water needs to recede before they can even figure out how many mains are broken, then it will take a couple more days to test for contamination.

I also think they know the game won't happen in Williams Brice, they're just working out WHERE the game will happen. They're probably trying to stall as long as they can to have the game as close to home as they can.
