I am sure plenty of the Rant Legal Team will weigh in with their expert contrarian views to this opinion.

I can't believe we have to go through every offseason and hear this shite. I'm really starting to get pissed at Miles for this. He's a good coach, but this is unbelievable. It's always someone new each year.

So the tone of his article is taking the stance that hill is guilty of all things before the actual legal process has played. It's funny that the author wants to play devils advocate so much. If the kid baited hill into punching him with racial slurs as alleged then I say he got what was coming to him. I wouldn't use racially degrading language to anyone in that setting and not expect to get punched in the face.

Then prepare to be pissed at every coach in America. It happens everywhere and there's nothing they can do about it but try to keep it to a minimum. LSU is better than most. These guys aren't choirboys and never have been. The only difference is now with social media, it's public knowledge instantly.

Matthew Harris seems to think there's no procedure in the judicial system.

The guy should make articles for Weekly World News. "Bat Boy found in Cave! Kid trapped in refrigerator eats own foot."

He's stirring up crap just so people read his article.

Harris predicted Hill will be done and he wants to be right about it. He sounds like a prosecutor not a writer. Why not let the legal system decide?

It is where Hill and his people around him have to be bigger men and just walk away from it. Simple as that. Easier said than done....I know...but you just walk away.

No, discipline. Inform them that if any weird shite happens, they will lose their privileges of playing for the LSU football team. I understand some are uncontrollable like Aaron Hernandez, but if a coach can't keep control of at least the main starters each season, then we are destined to be in decline. Lay down the law, and I think most people will be surprised at how quickly the message will settle in.

Les by and large runs a VERY clean program. We have the second highest graduation rate as well. I'm not pinning anything on miles. This is a miles haters bitching for the sake of bitching instance imo.

How do you know he doesn't do this?

We're talking about college kids. They're going to want to go out and party and do stupid crap.

See TM. The kid was a Heisman finalist and Miles kicked him off the team because he wasn't following the rules. See Perrilloux, same thing.

This isn't exclusive to LSU. It happens at every college in the country.

I don't think it's necessarily Miles haters. I think there's just some misguided people who think you can get 100 college aged males to somehow never run into trouble if you just shake your finger at them hard enough.

Miles doesn't raise them he just recruits them. At 18 you are pretty much a man. I would be pissed if he were trying to sweep these things under the rug.

They are not kindergardeners they are grown ups. Sure they are 18-22 and not 30-40 year olds but everyone has to look in the mirror at themselves and take responsibility for their own actions.

Plenty of people have come from broken homes, abusive homes, no homes, and other shitty situations and made it because they worked hard, followed the rules, and acted like adults.

In the end you and you alone are responsible for your actions.

Hill knew he was on probation he should have just left it alone and left the bar in fact he shouldn't have been there to begin with. Oh well live and learn.

Easy my friend, Dont do that to your head, doesnt that hurt? What exactly has u pissed at Miles?
Did u really think the charges against Hill were going to just go away or be dropped? Whats so unbelievable about a few guys getting in trouble? Have u seen what some of the grown men that are professionals are getting into? I guess Belicheck and Meyer need to go to jail right now. Its not like Hernandez was a choir boy at Florida.
shite Happens, calm down and investigate the rest of the SEC. Start at Florida and then ease over to Auburn, then to Gumpville and end your trip in NW Ar-Kansas. Piece of advice get a bigger helmet before u geaux. Youre going to need a couple Im afraid and dont forget the aspirin.

That article is bullshite. Its just his own speculation of a trial that hasn't happened yet. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Let’s be clear: Hill’s days of touching the Win Bar before bolting out the door into Death Valley are likely done.

Looks like a winning plan. Say something controversial and get readership up.

An hour later, though, East Baton Rouge Parish assistant district attorney Sue Bernie might have made up Miles’ mind for him. Three separate times, Bernie bluntly said she’ll file a motion to revoke Hill’s probation stemming from a guilty plea as a high school senior to carnal knowledge of a minor — a move that could put him in jail for up to six months.

Hope his probation isn't revoked. Please sweet baby jesus, please.
