les had so much talent on those teams

GN had lots of talent on his teams too. So did JS. The guy before Nick at Bama had talent on that team as well. LSU had some talent on its basketball team yr. before last too. Sports are ripe with talented teams losing and in some cases, losing badly.

All you have to do is look at all of the schools just beating down les mies' door to be their head coach since he was canned last year.

That's a faulty thought process when you consider the man is 64 and getting $133,000 a month from LSU for like the next 5 yrs. Where is his inventive to grab a job?? Would you?

How underachieving can it be used when the man won more games in his stay here than any other SEC school won in that period is beyond me, but each to our own.

Miles is gone for one main reason, 10 L's in his last 2 yrs. and 4games is not acceptable at LSU.

Coaches are mainly judged off wins and wins alone. When you stop winning as you had been winning, you are gonna be gone. All the other stuff is just window dressing.

but it's silly to ridicule the coach of the most successful period in LSU history since facemasks.

I'm not ridiculing anyone - I'm merely stating a fact: Miles was 10-10 against the SEC West in his last 20 games, with top-tier talent.

Most Tiger fans find that completely unacceptable.

While I don't think we need a full time coach to just coach kickers, it's much harder than "kick it through the goalposts." There is a lot of technique involved between placement of plant foot, hip and shoulder movement, leg motion and follow through.

that is what consultants are for..
