Saw we added 2 coaches to the football staff. Haven't seen anything posted...

Just Curious as to how much of a get these guys are...

They both came from Georgia. Was is more like we hired them away in a lateral move??? Or Kirby didn't want them.

I know it's only an analysis and GA position. Just curious...and like seeing football on the board so...

The 2 coaches in question:

LSU: Chris Kragthorpe has returned to LSU and will serve as an offensive analyst and Carter Blount is joining the staff as well as special teams grad assistant sources tell FootballScoop. Both Kragthorpe and Blount were on staff at Georgia this past season.

Well..his father steve, who was out old OC is chief of staff. I didn't even such a position existed. With all the offensive minds we have...really have to try to have An offense as bad as ours.

2015 Salaries at UGA

Carter Blount- 30,000
Chris Kragthorpe- 22,598
Kelly McDaniel (Receptionist)-23,635- added for comparison sake

These guys are glorified waterboys making those salaries in big time college football. I'd imagine LSU offered a little raise.

Jesus 23k is like $11 an hour. You can make that as a bank teller. Hope we don't pass a $15 an hour minimum wage or the state budget will see a big hit from these guys.

Blount is a pretty sharp guy. Met him a while back. He's dating one of my gfs best friends. I was excited when she told me they offered him the job.

Just like other "Internships", these grad assistants want to break into the filed and have to get experience somewhere....

Don't analyst and GA's get camp money also which isn't included in the listed salary?

Still not OT money but it is supplemented a little.

Regardless these guys are paying dues while young with an eye on something bigger in the future.
