Ole Miss leads the SEC in caught stealings. That is banner worthy IMO

I don't think sitting him for 12 days is that big of a deal

You're probably right. Does this indicate Paul is taking the tourney seriously?

My thought is...even if the starters don't go as long as Nola normally goes, there are a lot of guys in the bullpen that can use some innings.

We need to see a lot of Bonvillain this weekend.

I think it indicates he would like to rest Nola now, get him one start in the tournament, then proceed on to regionals.

Yeah, i dont think he cares that much about it. I think, like most, he would like to get a win or two while there

Sucks because its always fun to skull drag Ole Miss. But thinking bigger picture its a good move. Take 1 or 2 from OM and get 1 or 2 in SEC Tourney. Set staff up for regionals, supers, and CWS.

Plus CPM is looking for a 4 starter still.

I think it shows he wants another starting pitcher to step up for the NCAA post season.

Still possible, Ole Miss is nothing special.

Makes sense plus we haven't seen much Bonvillian lately. I'm wondering if they try him as a setup in Game 2.

Seems logical to try to match up McCune against Wahl. Basically a quasi-concession of that game and try to win the games Eades and Glenn pitch. Might get lucky and McCune will dominate while Wahl uncharacteristically struggles.

McCune is pitching Friday and Wahl is pitching Saturday

No. I'm not for "quasi-conceding" games against Ole Miss.

Other than that, the Wahl-McCune matchup should be great!

Putting Mccune on the mound is begging for a loss. No offense to do the dude but he just came off a major injury and hasn't exactly looked good since he came back. I'd rather them try something else like Bonvillian. I could hit Mccune's fastball.
