I don't think sitting him for 12 days is that big of a deal

Let him and Eades rest if you ask me.

I agree with this but Eades hasn't had the outings like Nola has lately as far as distance. Either way I am kinda excited to see if this affects the confidence of KM if he gets the mound to know that he is the guy for that day. Would be nice to know that we could really have another strong arm for post season.

I would rather see him get short work; 3-4 innings.

Either way I think it is a good thing. We shall see.

Bring the rape bats and this won't matter. We're pretty much guaranteed a win in Hoover now.

You're posting out of character here. Should I be worried?

This is exactly how I feel. When this team is really swinging the bats I don't know if there is another team that I have heard about in the country that can really keep up. If it comes down to a slugfest I like our odds.

i'd love to sweep the black bears without Nola just so they would feel dejected

Yea I have no problem with Nola sitting. I am a tad bit concerned McCune is getting the nod, but not a huge deal. If the sticks get going it wont matter if I am on the hill. Also, I guess PM figures 1 of 3 against OM and at least 1 win in Hoover locks up a top 4 seed.

I dont think he cares if we get a 4 seed or 6 seed, doesn't really matter either way

I hope we can prevent the black bears from hanging their co-almost-runner-up West Division championship banner.

My thought is...even if the starters don't go as long as Nola normally goes, there are a lot of guys in the bullpen that can use some innings.

Anyone else think Eades seems like he needed the rest more so than Nola? Especially considering his track record?

Surprised but not surprised. I'm all for resting Eades as well. Let them both have a week off and get back in the groove during the SEC tournament.

This will not get a top 4, imo. Doesn't really matter though
