9. LSU
LSU isn’t hurting for talent, but coach Les Miles’ team still has question marks on offense. Running back Leonard Fournette returns for another run at the Heisman Trophy and is expected to be the focal point of the offense once again. The receiving corps is anchored by Travin Dural and rising star Malachi Dupre, and the offensive line is in good shape despite losing standout tackle Vadal Alexander. However, the Tigers won’t push Alabama in the SEC West if quarterback Brandon Harris doesn’t take the next step in his development. Dave Aranda is one of the top assistant hires for 2016, and the new defensive signal-caller inherits talent on each level of the defense, including end Arden Key and safety Jamal Adams.

Naturally Bama loses a Heisman Winner RB and starting QB and is still placed at #1....seen this movie before.

These things shouldn't even come out till April after spring practices
For one the season isn't over
Secondly recruiting hasn't even commenced
Next the declaration process hasn't ended yet
And finally 2015 ended less than a week ago

It's always interesting that Bama can losing a Heisman RB and a starting QB and still be a clear #1 preseason team.
how in the hell is Saban doing this?
while LSU returns both JR RB and JR QB yet still has question marks on offense.
Until we beat them, it's going to be this way.

Tennessee at #8
I don't really understand the hype for UT next year. UF has more talent and better coaches; they will win the east.

Wow, Tennessee ahead of LSU? At 8?

Road games at Ole Miss, Tennessee, LSU, and Arkansas as well as an opener with Southern Cal after losing 16 starters. Yet, there is no doubt Bama will be the favorite for 2016. Yea right give me a break!

Remember the hype around Arkansas at the end of last year?
And Auburn?
Yea ok lets slow the roll on preseason polls of any kind, they are ruining college football as a whole.
Over inflating teams in weak conferences that easily go undefeated/1 loss gets you the Iowa's and Michigan States of this year.

If they beat Clemson that will give Bama 4 of the last 8 titles. And the other four times they were playing for the title in the last games of the season. Only an idiot would pick another team besides Bama.
