A Message To The Rant

At the end of the day this board is nothing but a blank piece of paper for every nitwit in the world to blabber on about something they feel is important (myself included, as I am legitimizing this claim by starting this thread). However, after every single game it seems that there are a plethora of threads started about how "terrible" LSU is at something.
1) Picking up trash
2) Underperforming on defense
3) Staying at the stadium past halftime
We could make a list that goes on and on as each week there is a new issue, but that is not worth anybody's time. Lets get back to reality.
If you are posting on this board during a game, you didn't show up to the stadium, pay money to go inside or help cheer during kickoff. If you are posting while you are at the game, I don't even need to comment as everyone knows the type of person you are.
For those that showed up to the game on such a shitty day, thank you. The first quarter, the stadium was rocking and as the rain worsened into the 2nd quarter, it did get pretty uncomfortable. For those of you there without rain jackets, i feel your pain, it was f***ing cold. For those of you who left at halftime, thank you too, as you did a lot more to contribute to the game then anyone posting on Tigerdroppings.
Get over this superiority complex people. Don't slob on Scott Van Pelts knob one week for praising the LSU fans and the Tiger Stadium experience and turn around the next week and chastise those same fans who actually showed up. Everyone who left at halftime is 100x the fan any of you were on Saturday.

We were there. Sitting in the rain for the first quarter and it freaking SUCKED. Call me less of a fan if need be, but I set my DVR from my phone and hauled arse to the comfort of my couch.

LSU fans, as with everything, have the good and the bad. The good fans that SVP & Co. go on about are the ones who cook up a buffet at their tailgate and invite complete strangers to dip into, then make their way into the stadium and make life hell for opponents for 60 minutes.
Then there are those that trash whatever campus they happen to visit that particular day (LSU's included), sit in the stands and stay silent for the entire game unless a camera happens to be pointed their way, then leave at halftime to beat the traffic.
I would give my left nut to be able to get season tickets for $100 like I did when I was a student, so to see the stadium (student section in particular) completely empty regardless of weather conditions pisses me off.
Don't try and act like that shite's okay because it's not. We're LSU. We ARE Superior. And we're better than that.

it's the masses, man. all ages, all IQ's, all races, all genders, etc. a 12 year old that doesn't know the rules of football nor has played organized sports is free to big shot it on the interweebs. one man one vote kind of thing. somehow, some common themes surface and they go viral.......
1) ESPN hates LSU
2) our defense takes bad angles
3) certain players are terrible and make all the mistakes even when they're not in the game
4) miles only plays the older players
5) miles calls all the plays that don't work
6) all high school players in La. are bama locks
i could go on. "group think" seems to be prevelent.

Tiger Rant has a few good threads now and then but I quit wasting time reading all the negative stuff. The negatiger bullshite is a waste of time and effort to read. Got better things to do than listen to butthurt miserable fans whining all day long.
