We can't put the the big inning up. But I will say, win or lose, we have looked a lot better this series rather than last.

We need to bunt every time the lead off guy gets on base but we never do for some reason.

We did that one season after the bats changed.... It did not go well for us.

This has been literally every sec game so far. This team is just horrible at pushing runs across. We get a decent number of hits.

I don't like their swings. Too robotic. They seem to lack rhythm and athleticism. Fraley loads, stops and has to restart.

Most of them swing down to the ball and either put it into the ground or hit a weak tailing fly ball.

Duplantis has the best looking swing but is 175 soaking wet.

Not sure if it's the product of LSU coaching or prior coaching but I don't see a lot of potential at all in this lineup.

So a month ago some here wanted to hire Cannizaro as the head coach.

Now after two SEC series our hitters look terrible? No way it's coaching at this point it's 8 new starters.

Hitting will get better but at this point I don't believe coaching has anything to do with it experience does.

Big inning? Hell, all I want is to score with RISP. Once a guy gets over to 2nd or 3rd, LSU bats go cold. One of the most annoying things with this team is watching them habitually swing at bad pitches and pop/fly out without advancing runners.

Everyone was so high on this team during the non-conference when bats were hot, but now that this team has entered the buzzsaw that is SEC pitching, we'll be lucky to go .500 in conference at the rate this offense is moving.

We can't string 3 or 4 good at bats together.

You're thinking too much about this.

Actually I haven't thought about it much. Just an observation, particularly compared to some of our more recent and better hitters.
