10-3 if the first game were not cancelled.

If this were August 1st, does the Rant say that Les Miles is going to be fired after that record?

To be clear, I am in no way advocating the firing OR non-firing of Miles. I just think that it's worth discussing since it could be our record at the end of this season.

They won't beat A&M, and will most likely lose the bowl game too. This team is in the tank right now, no focus.

Give him one more year. Let Harris show what he's got as a Junior. The nucleus of the team will be back. If the offense still looks inept next season with similar results, send him packing.

right. I'm just saying since it appears that the consensus if that Les is for sure gone, 9-3 is still a real possibility.

I can definitely see the logic in giving him one last year with a matured top recruiting class that he brought in.

It's the way in which we lose, get out coached, game time management and play calling. It's not the overall record. If we were competitive in every game for all 4 quarters, this would be a non issue.

Good to know that you help perpetuate the Loser's Mentality at LSU.

We had the nucleus of our team back from LAST year. In no way, shape or form.does anything he's done say that it would be different next year.

Let's just say the the MSU kicker hit that FG in the first game. And then everything else played out until Bama. We lose to Bama by 10 in a competitive game, come home and beat Arky by 10-14, and then lose to OM by 7 in a competitive game as well. Then the 9-3/10-3 record would still be talked about, and there would be 1000 "Miles is on the ultra hot seat" threads. But the Fire Les talk would probably not exist.

But going from undefeated #2 to looking like a bad Sun Belt team in 3 weeks is just too much to overcome

Can we discuss 3 blowouts; 2 to inferior opponents?

It's the fact that they were blown out and dominated three weeks in a row! That should never happen. Something is extremely wrong with the program for that to happen. How people and the national media can't see this is beyond me.

I'd rather a different coach lead this nucleus of players while we still have them rather than watch them do nothing like Les does with nearly all his offensive players

IF this comes to pass, I'll have to go back and find all the threads saying the expectation was around 9-10 wins, and everyone pointing to 2016.

It has been ugly for a few weeks to be sure, but when it is all said and done, we could be at 9-3 with some actual improvement shown offensively (I know many are down on Harris, but he has improved).
