88 plays.

22 first downs.

39 minutes of possession.

435 yards.

We scored 17 points.

I am so proud of both the coaching staff and our players for giving their all on Saturday night. However, I know Les looks at these numbers and knows that we are going to have to be more productive on offense.

For those of you that know me on here, I am a HUGE PosiTiger. I am only saying that we have to and that we WILL put more points on the board in the future.

Mumbo Jumbo. Miles wins 82% of his games, 74% of FBS schools, 71.8% against SEC schools.

It's successful but LSU wants National Titles.

Oh so we are the only ones? So its only a bad season when LSU doesnt win it all? No one else should expect to win? Just not realistic to expect that every year. Not when you play, uf, auburn, bama and ut all in the same year. What other teams outside the sec can say they played 4 former bcs champions? 6 between the 4 and another that went 14-0.

2 plays took 6 to 14 points off the board - the wide open "overthrow" and the Copeland PF. We make the overthrow - the defender was right there - so he would have been tackled between the 10 and 5, first and goal. We were going in to score when the personal foul killed the drive. Even if it had stalled, no way we don't get the short field goal from there.

6 to 14 points - those 2 plays could have been the difference between 17 and 31. 31 to 21 would have been convincing.

Bottom line, he made the right calls at the wrong time... 07 made them at the right time....

We had four advances into "points" territory with nothing to show for it:
1) To Bama's 13 before JC's stupid penalty; faked FG.
2) To Bama's 37 before missed 54 yd FG (note: we got to Bama's 35 and had 2nd & 2)
3) On downs at Bama's 25 (Ware stopped on 4th)
4) To Bama's 28 before missed FG

Alabama was basically the definition of a "bend, but don't break" defense that game.

Every one wants National Titles. They are hard to come by. If Bama wins this year Saban will join Tom Osborn as the only coaches to win 3 in 4 years. By your standard 99.9% of coaches and programs THAT HAVE EVER EXISTED are not good enough.

The old coach Cholly Mac won 70% of his games. Unfortunately they only played 10 games a year.
