I still don't get the pregame atmosphere infatuation with the Grove. Possibly my trip there was an anomaly but "that ain't livin" in my book.

basically hes not good enough to do a normal pass so he has to resort to some gimmick.

The first four notes of "Hold That Tiger": No matter where you are on LSU's campus, you sort of stop in your tracks when you hear those first four notes. It's the LSU band's way of letting you know that Saturday night at Tiger Stadium isn't too far away. Whether you're a die-hard LSU fan or a fan of another team, it's one of those pregame rituals in college football that will give you goosebumps. DAH-DANT-DA-DUM. Or better yet, go to LSUsports.com and click "Touchdown for LSU" (pregame).

Its ok, a very good setting with the potential to be better; but as a LSU fan you can't help but go there and think its unused potential filled with a lot of mediocre tailgaters.

Who was the sportswriter that said hearing the opening notes of Hold that Tiger would make the hair on a dead man's chest stand up?

I hear ya about the Grove. What the hell do people see in that place? A bunch of overdressed Mississipians dining on fried chicken with linen napkins in a stand of trees????? Maybe it is because it is SEC, the South, & actual tailgaiting-in comparision to what goes on as "so called" tailgaiting outside the South.

I also dont the understand the lip service the grove receives all the time. The tailgates are on top of each other, its like putting everyone tailgating at LSU on the parade grounds. Ill give it to them the girls are attractive but they are there for one to reason to get their Mrs.

Yea, there isn't really any room to really tailgate. So its not a tailgating spot as much as a fast food picnic spot. Wow, terrific.

The Grove - the world's largest McDonald's dining room.

Those ESPN boys are so hard up for a good looking woman. If you lived up in the Fat, No makeup land--you would get a hard on too.
