I'm not a fan of those schools and couldn't give a frick what they care about. You'll just have to accept that at LSU the order of importance is:
1. Football
2. Baseball
3. Basketball
Has LSU led the nation in attendance for 20 years in a row in basketball?

No one gives a shite nationally about a college baseball national championship. No one outside of LSU fans can name a single player from the team in 2009. March Madness is arguably the biggest sports playoff in the country. Super Bowl is a bigger championship but no one fills out an NFL bracket. Making the Final Four is a much bigger deal nationally than a baseball NC.
Also March Madness and making the final four is much funner than college baseball even at its peak. I like both but basketball with the one and done rule still has 100% of the best talent in its system unlike baseball.

Its not that hard to do in baseball.
Plus as you saw with UK and going back to dale brown if LSU basketball gets on track the PMAC will draw bigger crowds than the box.
Baseball has just been more consistent over the past 2 decades.

Why does relative national importance have to determine which sport we prefer personally or as a university community? This is LSU, if you want to be a fan of a school that cares more about basketball than other sports, go root for Kentucky, Duke, or North Carolina.

Because baseball is gonna be sooooo good with basically no fielders returning. Good luck spending 3 hours watching 2-1 baseball only to lose to Stony Brook and give them a victory lap.
