Where will our other wins come from, I was talking with T Bob Hebert yesterday and he said 8-4 was possible, I said where do we get the 4? Right now I think 2 more Sec victories is a strong possibility. Kentucky and Florida.

LSU is capable of beating everyone left on their schedule.

Will they? Doubt it.

But I'm confident that they will beat someone that they are not supposed to beat according to the Rant.

LSU will be 9-4 this year. MAYBE 8-5. They'll win.

I think LSU beats Auburn, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. So 8-4, which is not a bad year considering how young this team is.
ETA- LSU is capable of beating every opponent if offense execution improves and defense doesn't give up 3 big plays per game

Ole Miss is better than aTm and they play us tougher. If we can't figure out how to stop the run, we struggle with Arky too.

MSU's weakness was their secondary...our offense literally did nothing to exploit that for 3.5 quarters. I am convinced that the last half quarter would have been the same play calling had Harris not adjusted it on the fly.

I don't see this defense stopping the auburn, ole miss and arky offenses. I think we can still beat uf and uk. If it was just our normal offense being dog shite season then all the games left on the table would still appear winnable because maybe our d and special teams could do enough to give the jordan jennings led offense a chance. However, so far this year our dline has played like a peewee team. we also have a bad linebacker that is just a pancake waiting to happen and martin in the secondary. Unless this defense gets some balls its going to be bad trying to get a win outside of uk.

They scare the piss out of me. We play Bama the week before. They have a bye. They are going to pound the run. Put me in the not so confident group.

I second that. Throw in the fact that most of these teams have decent enough defenses to stop our offense (or lack there of) and this team in my opinion is no better than 6-6

You, me, and 9 slapdicks could be 3-2 against our schedule so far.

I love how all of you just assume that 1) LSU cannot improve and 2) every team that LSU plays will improve and/or not have a bad game against LSU

Agree with this. I'm just letting the season play out because right now, we have no run defense, and no run game. With a coach that is stubborn as a mule, I doubt he changes the gameplan until we lose a couple of games.

People thinking we beat Arkansas right now are sniffing paint. With a way better offense last year, we had to win it in the last few minutes at home. That Arkansas team is way better in every facet than last year, and we are worse. We will play a hard fought slug out with Bama, then play at Arky against a run game that will kill us. That is, unless something drastic happens to our team between that time.
